Foreign Projects Assistant (Part-Time)

POSITION OVERVIEW
READ Ministries seeks a part-time Foreign Projects Assistant to serve as a liaison between our international organization and our partners in Ukraine and beyond. This position requires a skilled communicator who is passionate about resourcing the Church for effective ministry, with the organizational abilities to support coordination efforts and the spiritual maturity to represent READ's mission with excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English (C1+) and Ukrainian (native)
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in professional interpretation and translation
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with various software platforms
- Active involvement in local church ministry with a good reputation
- Resides in Ukraine
Preferred Qualifications
- Seminary education or theological training
- Familiarity with theological education programs or institutions
- Experience in administrative support and coordination
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in ordering and coordinating delivery of marketing materials
- Skilled in travel arrangements and schedule creation
- Competence in maintaining accurate financial records
- Understanding of the Ukrainian church landscape and ministry context
- Based in Kyiv

Primary Responsibilities
- Translation & Interpretation: Translate written communication between English and Ukrainian, interpret during meetings and events, and facilitate clear exchanges between READ leadership and Ukrainian partners.
- Logistics & Travel Support: Organize travel schedules, accommodations, transportation, and event logistics for mission teams and ensure smooth execution of visits and activities.
- Financial Management: Maintain accurate on-field financial records, manage payments to vendors and partners, and ensure compliance with READ’s financial policies and procedures.
- Marketing & Materials Management: Handle orders and timely delivery of marketing supplies and promotional materials, track inventory, and communicate materials needs for upcoming events.
- Project Support & Partnership: Assist the Foreign Projects Coordinator in managing projects, facilitate communication between partners and READ leadership, maintain relationships with Ukrainian partners, and provide updates on communications and project progress.
- Representation & Outreach: Represent READ at conferences and ministry events, build relationships with church leaders and theological institutions, and promote READ’s initiatives.
- Travel: Willingness to travel periodically within Ukraine and occasionally internationally to Europe, Central Asia, or the United States as needed.
Working Conditions
- Part-time position (approximately 10 hours per week) with a flexible schedule to support ministry events and organizational needs
- Periodic travel within Ukraine and occasional international travel required
- Remote work permitted when not traveling or attending events
