We asked Pastor Oleg to show us how they have worked through the war, what our partnership means to their church, and prayer requests for future ministry.

Hello, I'm Oleg Larkov, pastor of God's Design Church. We do ministry in Kyiv.
My family and I came to Kyiv in 2014 when Russia invaded Ukraine and occupied our town. That year we began to work on the planting of a new church.
And since 2014, READ Mission has supported our ministry both financially and prayerfully.
In 2023, after Russia's full-scale invasion to Ukraine, our church began to provide humanitarian assistance to the local population and refugees from the occupied territories of Ukraine. The READ Mission actively joined our ministry.
We would receive finance for which we acquired:
- food, gasoline, paid rent for the premises
- We did a rehabilitation camp in the Carpathians for refugees
- and also equipped a heating point for 100 people
All of our humanitarian ministries were accompanied by the preaching of the WORD OF GOD.
- During the war period, we baptized 19 people, and now we are preparing 20 people for baptism
- Children's ministry reaches 150 children
- Our worship service has tripled. The church is attended by more than 150 people.
This is all thanks to our JOINT SERVICE.
