This report, expressing gratitude for the support received, comes from READ's foreign partner, Oleksandr Shchavlin. He is the first pastor of Grace Church and the Director of the Ukrainian-language Library at the Ukrainian Evangelical Seminary, located in Berezivka, Kyiv.

Gratitude for Your Support

Greetings, READ Ministries! Hello to everyone!

Thank you for your invaluable assistance this year in supporting the families of heroes at Grace Church, as well as for your generous contributions towards the Ukrainian language library at the Ukrainian Evangelical Seminary in Kyiv.

This year, your support helped fund a teen camp and facilitated a healing and spiritual retreat for the families of heroes—those fathers, sons, or husbands who made the ultimate sacrifice.

At the end of June, the youth from Grace Church enjoyed a fantastic time at camp in the Carpathian Mountains, located 500 km from my city. They prepared an impressive report in PDF format (see below).

The Families of Heroes trip is scheduled for the fall, taking advantage of the lower prices for medical treatments at sanatoriums during that time.

Additionally, the church hosted a wonderful children's camp from July 1 to 5, which included children from refugee backgrounds and military personnel, including members of Grace Church. I remain keenly aware that all children, even those within our church community, are affected by the trauma of war. Thus, the five days of camp provided them with great encouragement and inspiration.

Once again, I want to express my thanks for your prayers and support.

Oleksandr
