God's Design Church, Kyiv, Ukraine
The results from the humanitarian service at God's Design Church that has been provided since the war began will deeply touch your heart and is a testimony to the mighty and powerful King Jesus.
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28; NIV)
Many forced displaced people have found their way to this body of believers who have been serving the "movers" since shortly after the invasion by the Russians on February 24, 2022. God's Design Church is a relatively new church plant, beginning in 2014 when immigrants from Eastern Ukraine found themselves in Kyiv during the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation. Pastor Oleg was one of those movers. With the support of the Transfiguration Church, he began evangelistic work in one of the residential areas of the Darnitsky district in Kyiv and planted this church of "God's Design."
Because of this experience, Pastor Oleg and the humble servants at God's Design church began to help the current refugees residing in, and moving through, Kyiv and preach the Gospel on the street.
Pastor Oleg states,
"People felt that God cares for them through the church. And they willingly began to come not only for help but also for Bible study." By God's grace and mercy, we serve Him.
As of June 24 - 1000 refugees have prayed a prayer of repentance.
Seventy refugees now regularly attend services at God's Design Church.
Thirteen have received baptism.
