Greetings, my dear friends!
In April, I made two trips to the front line areas. The first was the Mykolaiv region in several villages, one of them was under occupation, and two were on the front line. Therefore, there are almost no houses which are not destroyed. Many people return to their homes, they live in garages, or unite several families for living in those houses which have more or less been rebuilt. In the villages, people have started planting gardens. I think there will be no need for them, especially for food soon . That's why we made the trip to the villages one last time. From now on we are going to cities only, there are still difficulties with food.
The second trip was to the city of Sloviansk, Donetsk region. There I continue to be in contact with a local pastor who organizes people to whom I can preach and then provide food packages. Two weeks ago, Russia hit Sloviansk with 11 missiles. Some of them hit apartment buildings. It was in the area where I was in February helping those people and preaching about Christ and salvation. Unfortunately, there are many who were killed, I want to believe that our preaching was not fruitless. I want to note that people listen attentively to the sermon, and some cry during the prayer for them. Because of the constant explosions, people are more open to the Gospel and God. Therefore, we continue to serve there.
I had the penultimate session at the Missionary Training Center. We went to West Ukraine to have the session. It was an interesting experience to do an internship among the interesting people of Volokh. On the way back, I managed to take humanitarian aid for our further trips.
